If I could snap my fingers and make one dream come true, it would be for people to give eating real food an honest try so they could experience its many benefits.
Back in January I led a 2-Week Real Food Challenge with my Facebook community where we did just that. 130 courageous people ditched sugar, wheat, and high-refined vegetable oils for vegetables, fruit, lean protein, healthy fat and dark chocolate. And in 14-days (or less!) here’s what people reported:
- Steadier hunger / energy levels; no afternoon crashes or yawning
- Sleeping like a baby
- Improved digestion
- Less irritable / moody
- No more achy joints
- Clearer skin
- Feeling slimmer / less bloated
- Feeling satisfied with natural sweetness (fruit); less inclined to reach for ice cream
- Being better equipped to handle disappointment / setbacks in life.
Now imagine if they did it for life!
One of the most common reasons I hear for not giving this simple but powerful human health experiment a try is that people think it’s too hard.
They think they don’t have the time.
They think they don’t have the culinary skills.
They think they’ll be eating bland or boring food.
But none of this is true! You can eat real, whole, unprocessed, nutrient dense food that not only tastes delicious, but can be prepared in next to no time with virtually zero culinary talent.
There you have it – a yummy three-day meal plan that doesn’t require a single recipe. Let me know if you try it and what you think. How do you feel when you string 12 good meal and snack choices back-to-back? Please leave me a comment so I can keep adding to this helpful resource and inspiring more people to take charge of their own health.
